​KOMOREBI BLACK記憶を吸う森/KOMOREBI BLACKA forest that 　　absorbs memories

＊プリントした写真にペイントを施したりスクラッチをいれる手法で作品を発表するシュールハンズタナカ。デジタルフォトという現代から未来へと続く技法と昔からの「人の手による」技法の融合が、シュールでポップな世 界を作り出す。 作品のベースとなった写真は京都下鴨神社の森(糺の森)で真夏に撮影された もので、いわゆるパワースポットとしても知られる深い森は夏でも暗く「そこに身を置くとまるで過去の記憶が吸い取られて、自分が新しくなるような感覚になった」(シュールハンズタナカ)。その体験がタイトルになっている。（2021発表 した同名写真集KOMOREBI BLACK記憶を吸う森）

SURHANDSTANAKA presents works by painting and scratching printed photos. The fusion of digital photography, a technique that continues from the present to the future, and traditional "man-made" techniques creates a surreal and pop world. The photo that became the basis of the work was taken in midsummer in the forest of Shimogamo Shrine in Kyoto (Tadasu no Mori).
